As well as directing some of the iconic movies of the 70s 80s and 90s - Assault on Precinct 13, Halloween, The Fog, Escape from New York, The Thing and Big Trouble in Little China,  John Carpenter also scored many of them using cutting edge synthesizers and technology of the time - creating some of the most atmospheric scores of the time.

As part of a special limited date tour in the UK, Carpenter is playing some dates together with a full band and accompanying "stunning visuals". Tickets went on sale for the Bristol date at the Colston Hall for October 23rd this year which is the finale of the Simple Things festival in the city.
