NI Launches Mixcloud DJ Mix Competition

Native Instruments tells us that they are continuing their one-year Stems anniversary giveaway with the launch of a mix competition in collaboration with Mixcloud. To enter, participants record a 30-minute TRAKTOR mix and share it on Mixcloud with the #PLAYSTEMS tag before June 12. Three winners will be selected by house music legend Carl Cox. One first place winner will receive an e-voucher prize worth 2000 $/€ towards gear at the NI Online Shop. One second place winner will receive a prize of one TRAKTOR KONTROL S8 flagship DJ system. One third place winner prize of one TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 all-in-one DJ system. All submissions must be received by June 12, 2016. Here's more details in NI's own words...

Stems is Native Instruments' multi-track format for DJing. Since the new format was announced on March 2015, Stems-ready hardware like the TRAKTOR KONTROL S5 and D2, enhanced TRAKTOR software support, and thousands of official releases on a growing repertoire of labels have contributed to the expansion of Stems.

This competition is being conducted by NATIVE INSTRUMENTS GmbH from May 12, 2016 until June 12, 2016. By entering, participants agree to these terms and conditions:

All personal information is protected by privacy and data protection laws and will not be shared with third parties. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

Employees of the Native Instruments group are not eligible to participate.

By recording a mix with TRAKTOR PRO 2  and uploading it to participant's Mixcloud profile with the tag #PLAYSTEMS, participants can win one of the following prizes:

1.One first place e-voucher prize worth 2000 $/€ towards gear at the NI Online Shop
2.One second place prize of one TRAKTOR KONTROL S8 flagship DJ system
3.One third place prize of one TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 all-in-one DJ system

Mix must be between 25-35 minutes and recorded in TRAKTOR PRO 2. Sharing the mix with friends and fans generates more plays, likes, and comments that will have a positive influence on visibility.

The finalists will be determined by a jury who chooses the best mixes based on originality, mixing quality, and visibility. The winner will be chosen by Carl Cox.

Prize winners will be notified by email, and are required to notify Native Instruments that he/she accepts the prize within one week after receiving the notification email. If Native Instruments does not receive notification within this period, the winner forfeits the prize and Native Instruments reserves the right to choose another winner. Native Instruments will link to the winner's mix from its social media channels.

A cash payout of the prize is ruled out.

The right of appeal is excluded.

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply exclusively; Berlin, Germany, shall be the exclusive court of jurisdiction.
For usage of Mixcloud's services, the Terms&Conditions of Mixcloud Ltd. apply.
