We've heard nothing about this from Arturia themselves as yet, but US retailer Sweetwater says that Arturia has announced two new synthesizers in a limited edition colour - the MiniBrute Red and the MicroBrute Red. This is what Sweetwater has to say...

The MiniBrute Red is a crimson take on the now-discontinued MiniBrute. The MiniBrute is a 25-key, all-analog monophonic synthesizer with a 3-waveform oscillator, a sub oscillator, and an external input for processing external signals through the MiniBrute's circuitry. You also get a noise generator, 2 ADSR envelopes, assignable LFO, aftertouch, portamento, Steiner-Parker 2-pole filter, and both control voltage and MIDI I/O (including MIDI over USB), all wrapped up in a gorgeous limited-edition red enclosure.

We also have the MicroBrute in not just red, but transparent red! With the MicroBrute Red, you get a 25-mini-key monophonic analog synthesizer with 3-waveform VCO, overtone generator, and Steiner-Parker filter. The MicroBrute also features a step sequencer and a powerful modulation matrix. You won't believe how gorgeous this synth is in its transparent red finish!

Make a visual as well as sonic impression with the new red synths from Arturia! But don't wait too long. These are limited editions; once they're gone, they're gone for good.

Pricing and Availability:

MiniBrute Red $399

MicroBrute Red $299
