Live Blog: Studio Stekker 2016 -Week Long Studio Synth Jam

Laster year's Studio Stekker was a lot of fun, held at Utrecht's Kytopia, a collective studio complex, the brainchild of Colin Benders AKA Kyteman, a Dutch trumpet player who's ambitious blend of big ban orchestral Hip Hop has been extremely successful and has allowed him a lot of freedom.

In recent years, he's been bitten hard by the modular bug - you can see his regular live jams from Kytopia on Youtube. Its also the home of the fabulously well equipped Sonar Traffic - they have a collection of rare and desirable instruments to die for.

The week-long Studio Stekker, invites a selection of artists and producers to hang out at Kytopia an collaborate with access to the large collection of synthesisers. The result is electronic music heaven.

We'll be posting from there during the week - stay tuned. One thing we do know, Sonar Traffic's Allert has been involved in the Behringer DeepMind 12 project - will we see it this week?
