Tubeohm has released the 106-Emulation, a virtual synth for Windows revisiting the Roland Juno-106, that can also be used as a controller for the hardware synth.

A spokesperson told us, "The 106-Emulation features a complete set of MIDI SYSEX. Now it is possible to program sounds in the 106-Emulation and send it to the Hardware. Or you can load patches into the software and the patch is transmitted direct to the hardware. You can also use the Arp for the hardware."

There are also some new switchable built-in features extending the features - you get an additional VCA, OSC sync, Delay, ARP, Voice doubler, a second LFO. If you want to have the emulation only you can switch these extensions off.

The 106-Emulation comes with 3 Banks  of sounds - approx 300 patches.
