Another welcome visit from Elektron in the form of Cenk (aka Dataline), whos here to show us the new stereo analog processor - Analog Heat.
With 8 discrete, switchable, analog drive circuits, multimode filter, EQ in the analog domain, as well as a digital LFO and Envelope, the stereo processor allows you to sculpt and mangle the sound in many creative ways. Additionally the Analog Heat has a 2 in, 2 out USB audio interface and Overbridge as standard, letting you process DAW tracks through its analog circuits.
We have to say the sound is very impressive, from warm enhancement through burn and finally full-on destruction, its got a lot of ways to shape the tone of anything you put it across. And the modulation adds quite a twist to the process. With a parallel processing path you can blend it pretty subtly, or not.
Okay its not the cheapest, but what it does is hard to find outside boutique studio rack gear costing considerably more.
Available imminently £679 799 Euros, $719
