dBs Music who have training colleges in Bristol,  Plymouth and Cornwall in the UK, just put a couple of new SSL desks in their teaching facilities. Plymouth gets the SSL AWS 924 and Bristol gets the the SSL Duality.

Both Solid State Logic consoles feature integration into the modern workflow with both analog mixing as well as DAW integration with automation being able to control the analog fader directly, avoiding the need for additional mixing layers. Students will now have the ability to compare the SSL sound and workflow against the Neve Genesys in Plymouth and the API 1608 in Bristol.

dBs Music offer diplomas and degrees in many aspects of music production, performance and for working to picture.

"The desks will be used in group teaching sessions but also, most importantly, be constantly available for individual bookings. Without this level of access to the very best kit, we find that students do not acquire the skills necessary for success in this industry."
