Mixvibes has opened the public beta of their Remixlive 3.0 music-making app, announcing lots of improvements.
A spokesperson told us, "Adding finger drumming and pattern recording, we tried to turn the app into an instrument. With this extra drum grid, it is now possible to play pads like a drum kit or a piano, and stack patterns to create a song from scratch. You can think of it as an app-counterpart to grid controllers."
Here's the official press release...
Mixvibes opens public beta for Remixlive for iOS 3.0, calling all iOS musicians to discover a finger-drumming enhanced update.
Remixlive has reinvented itself with a dedicated finger-drumming grid to enhance the existing loop grid. As such, it becomes an app-counterpart to music hardware and a true digital instrument for aspiring and experienced iOS musicians. Other new features include the zoom waveform view, ideal for editing samples on the go, and a complete design overhaul improving the overall workflow.
