There's no doubt Morton Subotnik is one of the synthesis pioneers of our age. An early adopter of the so called West Coast approach to synthesis using Buchla instruments, His seminal 1967 album "Silver Apples of the Moon" is a classic of early electronic music and set the mold for many musicians to come.
Waveshaper Media, the makers of the excellent "I Dream of Wires" documentary, currently have a documentary project cooking on Morton Subotnick titled "Subotnick". Its currently looking for funding to compete the project. With a month to go, they are at 80% funding of the total of $40,000 to complete the project.
The project is currently running on Indiegogo.com
