We reviewed the Behringer X32 when it came out  - indeed we liked it so much, we got one for our own studio setup, the 32 input digital console is aimed at live performance, doing the usual think of cramming a lot of features into a Behringer sized price point. But is equally at home in the studio, with plenty of routing options available. Add to that the 8 DSP slots for running on board algorithms from Klark Teknik and the like and you have a very capable board.

At the time, there was talk of a multichannel recording option card to put in the expansion slot, the X32 comes with a USB and Firewire interface card, but there are other options - ADAT card, MADI, DANTE and the Cymatic USB drive - arttach a USB drive and record directly to that.

The new Behringer card is set to be released with 2 SD Card slots for direct recording to SD. We assume up to 32 channels, to Wav files. But this video doesnt go into details, just that its on its way into production.

Its a good sign, that products are still being developed for the product. No more details availble as yet.
