Been wondering what Tatsuya - Korg's chief architect of their analog resurance has been up to since leaving Korg at the start of the year?
In recent weeks, he's been working with Red Bull music academy on a piece in conjunction with artist Ikeda titled A [for 100 Cars], which brings together, um, 100 cars with the score 100 Synthesizers - we hear its the largest ever created. Details of the event, held in downtown LA on October 15th between 3-5pm (details of the event here). The 100 synthesizers appear to be custom built for the performance, though its not clear exactly what they each do or the features they have.
