We discovered this one while exploring one of our forthcoming Ableton Rack Packs. We wanted to access the interface on a 3rd party plug-in - in this case Native Instruments Battery - and rather than using the default note grid that Push/Push2 offers when dropping a plug-in directly on a track we wanted to use that to program beats.

In this video we show how you can do that by dropping your preferred instrument directly onto a drum pad within an Ableton Drum Rack. Which means if you have Push or Push 2, you can use the drum interface rather than the default note interface.

Enjoy.
