U-he's Repro-5 follows on from the Repro-1 - which you may have noticed has a resemblance to the classic SCI Pro-One mono synth, you guessed it, the Repro 5 it share much of the DNA of Repro-1 but with added polyphony of course making it more P5 like.
We first had a look at this back at Superbooth in Berlin in the spring, and as we have come to expect with any software project, its taken a little longer to come than predicted. To be fair though U-He are renowned for their tip top software instruments, and are not ones to release before its properly baked.
So today they have announced the public Beta for Repro-5 - you can download it here. One big bit of news is that its now also available as a Linux version too - though slightly behind in development (though not by much).
Repro-5 is slated for release December 12th - though they won't swear by it, and is available as part of the Repro bundle (currently on special offer)
