UK-based, WS Audio Limited, has announced the European release of its debut product Trueno, which they describe as s a 3 oscillator analogue synth with a footprint smaller than a credit card. They say that Trueno (from the Spanish for thunder) is USB powered and is the first of its kind. It is controlled through a VST/AU plugin and uses a built in 24-bit ADC to output the audio directly from the plugin. Will Shaw, Trueno's designer told us, "It works just like any other plugin, it's a really quick and easy way for musicians to get authentic analogue sounds into their music."
Trueno's other features include a digital additive mode with 256 waveforms; AM, PWM and filter FM; 6 envelope generators and 4 LFOs as well as digital flanger, phasor, chorus, delay and reverb effects.
Pricing and Availability:
Trueno will be available in Europe in early December 2017 from Amazon (UK, FR, ES, DE and IT) and will retail for £139.99/€159.99.
