Mathew Lane and Plugivery have announced the release and distribution/availability of STEREODELTA 2, which they describe as an update to the original and easy to use spatial processor with new GUI design and support for host computer authorization via the iLok Manager. They say that, available as an AAX/AU/VST/VST3 plug-in, with one powerful knob to control your stereo image, the plug-in offers true mono to three dimensional width and always maintains a natural sound thanks to the integral DrMS technology inside. Here's the details in Plugivery's words...
Mathew Lane, born Mathijs Indesteege (1981, Belgium), is an independent music professional working as a mastering engineer and audiotool designer/consultant. Mathijs studied engineering at the university of Leuven and went on to the music conservatory of Ghent where he graduated with a Masters in Music - Music Producing. In 2008, he released the first version of the DrMS spatial processor plug-in, now widely accepted by audio professionals as a unique plug-in. It has been used on countless records in all music genres. In 2016, he released the first version of a simplified version of DrMS called StereoDelta.
StereoDelta's single control knob goes from true mono fold down (saving all stereo info into mono!) at the left of its range, gives you your original stereo at the 12 o'clock setting, and 3D expanded stereo to the right. StereoDelta's DrMS style widening does not only make your soundstage wider, but also deeper, more open, and more real. And always with the confidence of mono compatibility.
