Take one Elektron Digitakt - the sampling drum machine with powerful sequencing features, add a Retrokits RK-001 (€45) programmable MIDI cable, the extremely clever cable that allows you to modify incoming MIDI and re-route, rechannelize and re-map via a Web MIDI programming interface (we reviewed this in Volca Vibes together with a Korg Volca Sample).

Together they allow you to play the Digitakt as an 8 voice poly synth by using identical voices and the control all feature - editing all voices simulatenously.
