Pioneer showed us their new DDJ-1000. The all in one DJ controller which features the same platters with in-built displays for track info and label artwork, count down and cue information.

The DDJ -1000  also works as a stand alone Dj mixer. You can mix external sources and apply beat fx without the host computer connected.

New features of the Pioneer Record Box system include Lyric a subscription service that will let you display song lyrics on an external monitor. Additionally you can hook up and control external lighting with the Pioneer  RB-DMX1 a DMX controller and have the dynamics of the song fire out lighting control on up to 512 DMX channels,

The DDJ-1000 is available mid February priced at $1199.
