Soundiron tells us that Microrgan is a vintage 49-key electric reed organ built by the Italian electronics company Farfisa. This is what they have to say about it...
We’ve captured it’s warm, humble and yet full-bodied tone with infinite sustains and tight staccatos. We then pump it up with 20 awesome sound-designed custom synth and special effect patches and 40 uniquely sound-designed textural and tonal ambiences that can be played chromatically as atmospheric synths, dronescapes and pads, or dropped directly into your projects as wavs, perfect for underscoring and mood crafting.
We’ve loaded up the UI with lots of handy sound-shaping controls that give you the flexibility to warp the shape in many ways. You can tweak and dial in Volume, Attack, Release, Transient Offset, Vibrato and Octave layering, or use the "Glide" slider to for portamento.
It comes equipped with a routable LFO system, with LFO shape, modulation target parameter, speed, intensity, tempo-syncing and fade-in time options. You can also apply your choice of 13 low-pass, high-pass and FX filter, with assignable modulation control options, including velocity, modwheel, expression, after-touch, key position and step-sequencer. There's a full arpeggiator as well, with a built-in velocity sequencer table and control over arp direction, note timing, swing, randomization and duration. The user interface controls are topped off with our FX rack tab, with 18 different DSP effect modules that you can assign in any of 10 slots in any order.
