Line 6 tells us that, supporting Audio Units and VST in addition to AAX Native, Echo Farm 3.0 now works with all popular DAWs.

A spokesperson told us, "Originally introduced in 2001 as a Pro Tools TDM plug-in, Echo Farm was used on countless hit records produced in studios throughout the world. Echo Farm 3.0 not only brings those classic effects to modern Pro Tools users, the 64-bit native AAX plug-in also provides backward compatibility with previously created sessions—and now AU and VST support enable Echo Farm to be used within any popular DAW for the first time ever."

Echo Farm 3.0 features models based on vintage hardware units such as the Roland RE-101 Space Echo, Boss DM-2, Electro-Harmonix Memory Man, TC Electronic 2290, and Maestro Echoplexes, plus Line 6 originals.

Features

  • Choose from 12 models including vintage echo units and Line 6 originals
  • Intuitive and easy-to-use interface
  • Control tape wow & flutter, filter-swept modulation, bit resolution, and more
  • Supports sample rates up to 192 kHz for pristine sound quality
  • Settings and presets are 100% compatible with Pro Tools TDM sessions (AAX version only)
