I have to say that the idea of a midi sequencer on an iPad really looks interesting. Would be cool if someone did a Tenori-On style midi app so you could quickly jam with patterns.

There was a $100 hardware MIDI interface for PocketPC devices 7 or 8 years ago. Software like PocketGriff (a great multitrack studio app with instruments) could take adavantage of it.
