interesting Studio's that cost thousands of Dollars, using iphones for music ?

I've seen aggresive advertising but Apple should realise that , it doesn't take a lot o go from cool to plain dumb and ridiculous.

Wow. The iRig really opened the floodgates for this kind of app & interface.

This is a boon for recording on-the-go if you have an iPhone/iPod/iPad.

Maybe Line6 or one of the others will provide us with a combined MIDI interface and audio input device?

Hey Nick, any chance that SonicState or Amped can provide a head-to-head review for these things (iRig, Peavey, GuitarJack) before we go ahead and buy one. I'd be interested to learn of the capabilities for recording keys/guitars/vox into the iPhone/iPod/iPad...

The iRig interface definately looks smaller, and from what I've played with in the app so far, it has some nice modelling capabilities.

When Apple release OS4 which allows for multi-tasking, hopefully the output of the modelling apps can be routed to the input of recording apps.

Expensive - and not compatible with either the iPad or the new iPhone.

Did you notice the ONLY guitar they were playing through the jack was that one specific Taylor?
