Hmm, the great modular cards with VL, AN, DX etc were not brought back in this model.

I love the black color. I scanned the manual for the previous Motif, and while there were dozens of pages of various arpeggiator presets, I saw no up, down, or random. Do they exist in the Motif?

That's not that bad if it's flash memory. You only have to load it once.

Bring in your softsynth sounds? You gonna sit down and sample every nuance of your VST's? Don't think so.

It is nice that it has flash memory, but other than that, I see nothing crazy to get excited about...

Interested in the Wave Cycle feature but as of yet I don't know what it means.....

nothing to get excited about..... hmm...... arent you a killjoy...... it has a 16 track hard recorder...... more new waveforms... and YES.....you can bring in sonic reality patches etc...... it takes a bit.. but its n flash ram and you only have to download once.... want to bring in mellotrons... you can sng into it too.... and new realistic articulations. oh i think this is gonna be very very good. you have no idea how powerful yammy stuff is till you get inside its head...... at first i hated my S80xs.... but once i figured it all out and did whole songs with drumming etc and bass.... its worth its weight in gold on stage....... someday im gonna get an OPENLABS......and that should take care of business.

I'm also interested in finding out what the wave cycle feature does. I'm not sure what's wrong with that.

I assume they dont' mean 80 minutes at every startup? The Nord Wave has flash ram and doesn't take nearly that long to start up.
