Speaking of "affordable" (?) multi-touch, it would be nice if you could take a look (review?) the Toshiba Libretto W100 as a music tool. I'm very curious to see how it would handle (as a mobile device running full version apps of) Propellerhead Record, with the main mixer and/or sequencer window on the screen below (at your fingertips) and the rack on the upper screen.
Same with Reason and Ableton Live, etc...

...since we can't have the Töken just yet (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVD_Lvv4UOI), might as well try the other available multi-touch Win7 options :) 07-Oct-10 09:53 AM Koshdukai Said... btw, the jaw dropping iZotope RX™ 2 reminded me of http://photosounder.com/ :) 07-Oct-10 03:20 PM Marc JX8P Said... Along the lines of Chip Tune is Tree Wave, a Dallas based electronic musician using Commordore 64 and Intel 386 computers. Check out Tree Wave - very Stereolab-esque.

This podcast made me wish I was on there with you. I'm studying film archiving as a master's student and I've had an internship in sound restoration at a film lab.
Archiving large data is a topic we deal with a lot. I wish I could have been there or at least listened live in the chat room. Damn! 08-Oct-10 08:13 AM Tike Said... Woah nelly, how about them aeplps! 25-Oct-12 12:35 AM Post a comment |
