Gotta love Gibson marketing hype. Yes, the Flying V was an icon by the late 60s...by which time it had been long discontinued because it sold so poorly. So they threw together a few more Vs in the late 60s form leftover parts and then discontinued it again for another decade only to come out with the bizarro V2 with it's V-shaped pickups...what's with these guys?
