Ok!!! This made me back off with my gear plans, and just buy the damn iPad! There was already a great deal of synths that I envied in lust, but Waldorf is too much to pass by, even if it was more expensive. It looks like its not only a unique synth, but also a step or two ahead in both synthesis and interaction with sound shaping!!! I got REALLY excited about it!

Go Waldorf!!! My iPad and wallet are ready and waiting.

No more dodgy encoders to worry about ;)

Used to love Fairlight much more than Waldorf, but then Microwave XT and then the Q blew me away and sampling was no longer special.

Fast forward a few years the "CMI" iPad app was nothing more than a stupidly expensive steaming pile of post doggy dinner and the circle is now (almost) complete.

Come on Waldorf, where's the new (cough PPG) Realizer?!

Now that's an idea to drool over... :)

This looks exciting, but man I wish they'd devote some time to their current customers and make a d*mned Blofeld editor/librarian/wavetable creator for the Mac.

The future development of iPad synths is really becoming exciting. The Nlog Synth Pro has been at the top of the list for some time now, now the Waldorf looks set to take things to a whole now level. The 3D wave table technology sounds truly incredible, I can't wait to try this one, it could be life changing. I'd love to try a beta version because now the excitement is really building.
