Well thet look fairly useful - but I was about to post that if made of metal they could cause marking/denting on the iPad. But if made of plactic as you say, that'll be a little easier on the iPad. Nevertheless I'd like to see padding on the clamp points, as it is (metal or plastic) I'd be concernd with damaging the iPad
