A pedal is not made for subtle effects, that's what studio processors are made for. On stage you need pedals that will have a significant role on the whole band performance. Anything else is just a waste of time. The audience will never notice a soft compression or filtering. If the PA is weak they might not even tell the difference between one electric guitar or another! This pedal might be cool on paper, but this demonstration didn't convince me. Sorry. Luckily the two other new Boss pedals sound wonderful. 24-Jan-13 08:45 AM Brownsound Said... I agree Eric! also I wanna include that there's something I've learned over the last 18+yrs of live playing at Band volume, Good equipment gets a good sound,Great players put out great sound! The Reviewer for the Boss DA-2 is not a live player, sorry just being honest. true players will put out a review after the equipment has been in a live situation at least couple of month in different styles, scenarios and band dynamics. This guy is all intellect and has no experience in live situations like some of us who play almost every weekend... 24-Jan-13 10:30 PM Brownsound Said...
