I have to say that it looks silly to combine a controller keyboard with a drumpad in this manner. They are SO close but ruin it all by having the pitch/modwheel up in the top left corner above the drum pads. If I'm a keyboard player, which I'm likely to be if I get a KEYBOARD, I don't want the pitch/modwheel way up there away from the actual keyboard...

Having the pitch/mod wheels where they are isn't as bad as people here might think. If you've ever played an old Fatar 61 key keyboard, then you are playing them in the same exact position as they are in this configuration. I recall never having had any problems playing one of those -- and in fact, had it not been for the unfortunate lack of USB, then I would have kept my old Fatar.

Just saying.

I’m left-handed and I still despise location for pads. These gimmicks features, this triggerism synth mentality is getting mediocre as new language of political correctness.. It seems to me everything mediocre is perceived as original today. From one hand I’m glad Alesis is releasing anything keyboard wise, but why reduce your production to sterile, faceless trigger keyboard, that are future’s past, before we even knot it? This is beyond my grasp
