Hell yeah. Looks great but why do Roland Drums always sound like shit? Sounds too processed and artificial. Come on, the 80s are over.

I never use "internal" drum sounds anyway. But they're nice to have if you don't have any VST drums like BFD2 or EZdrummer. You want real drums sound, it's better to buy an acoustic drum set.

The Roland US website refers to this kit as at the TD-9SX. I guess it's the US only model number. So Johnny is correct.

Does anyone know.. if you hook up an additional mesh tom pad and another cymbal to the AUX input, will it map the extra input to some appropriate sound in each factory stored kit ? Or do they have to be assigned by hand or something?

Also, is that price of $2495 US dollars for the rubber version or what? Cause i've been quoted ~$3300 AUD for the KX in aus.

ddrum has always been the best sounding drum modules. their tracking is also the best. roland layers effects over all their drums sounds to make them sound better. take the effects away and hear how thing they sound. then try the ddrum4 4 and watch Your subwoofers vibrate.

John, have you ever played a roland through a good PA? they sound pretty good to me, i can only knock the snare sounds on a handful of the kits. and johnny rab is a legend. woop woop
