This is the sort of thing I've been waiting to see for years, expanded articulation options. I also really liked the way it lets you create a soundstage graphically, not only placing the instruments but locating the listener relative to them. Very, very cool.

Yikes! Like $2000-$3000 for the set! + the cost of the breath controller + the cost of a powerful computer. That adds up to a LOT of $$$$$. You can get a TURBO VL70-m for $850 with 256 sounds and you're all set.

Well, the VL70-m TURBO makes sound by physical modeling too. But one voice at a time only, instead of 100s, and less advanced modeling, obviously.

I cannot afford WIVI though, so I'll stick to my VL70-m for now.

I can't wait to see where this goes. Heartbreakingly though, it still doesn't sound as realistic as a big multi-sample library like VSL, but presumably it's only the first version.. dear god
