I think NI are more interested in their Sound Packs at the moment than investing time & money in upgrades or new synths as they can knock out the Sound Packs pretty quickly without significant investment and development time.

They sent me a whole questionnaire to fill out about what kinds of sound libraries I would be interested in buying, whether I am interested in a subscription model for sound libraries, etc etc.

I'm wondering about the future for their synth development, since they were selling them at fire sale prices this summer.

NI have pretty much all ground covered. They could release an another imitation of an hardware synth, but so many other companies are doing it.

They could release a modular effect plugins, hi quality sound processing. Reaktor kinda of cover that in some way.

An update to vokator with more effect a la Antares AVOX would be welcomed too.

But to think about it, their product range covers everything. What`s left to be done is to do DAW software ?
