I was pleasantly surprised to hear that the Go's preamp is much quieter than that of the Samson C01U, which was more or less unusable for quiet spoken-word recording as shown in the video.

I've not tried other USB mics from Samson, but I was pleased with the results that this one gave. Omni mode was surprisingly low ambience in my tests.
