Continuing the policy that Native Instruments told us at NAMM (story here) that Native Instruments would be focusing new developments on OSX and Windows XP they have released an OSX only upgrade to TRAKTOR FINALSCRATCH. The Windows update will follow later. The Native Instruments press release follows.... STANTON MAGNETICS and NATIVE INSTRUMENTS are excited to announce that TRAKTOR FINALSCRATCH 1.5.1 for Mac OS X is now available. The new version further expands on the functionality of the revolutionary digital DJ system and also brings important optimizations for use with Mac OS X 10.3 "Panther", ensuring optimal performance and stability on Apple's latest operating system. A major new feature of TRAKTOR FINALSCRATCH 1.5.1 is the new "Key Correct" function, which allows DJs to change tempo while preserving the original pitch of the track. The highly acclaimed time-stretching algorithms from TRAKTOR DJ STUDIO 2.5 guarantee flawless audio quality in this process. Further improvements include a customizable user interface and greatly enhanced visualisation of audio tracks. The TRAKTOR FINALSCRATCH update 1.5.1 is immediately available for all FINALSCRATCH users as a $49 / 49 Euro direct download. Users who prefer to receive the update on CD can order one for $69 / 69 Euro (shipping included). Customers who bought their FINALSCRATCH system after January 1st, 2004 can download the update for free or receive an update CD at the discounted price of $19 / 19 Euro. A Windows update bringing TRAKTOR FINALSCRATCH 1.5 to version 1.5.1 will also be made available shortly. For more information, please see http://www.FinalScratch.com
