Sontronics were showing a few new products here. Firstly the new drum mics - a range that have been tuned to work with specific drums, theres a snare DM-1S, toms DM-1T and kick DM-1B (also great for bass cabs) variety - interestingly, they've all had custom EQ curves built right in to make them sound great right out of the box. You'll not need to apply too much more EQ to get then sounding spot on for the application they are designed for.

Also, there's a new guitar specific mic called HALO designed to work well with guitar cabs - based on the smooth handheld SDC-80 dynamic mic. £150 - June

Theres an update to the Sonora  dual micpreamp - the new model now has, phase reverse, combi connectors allowing it to be used as a DI box, 66dB of gain and headroom, plus a groundlift.
