The 25 key Photon X25 ($299) has as a four character LED display, high-quality keyboard, an AirFX inspired X/Y dome to control Pitch Bend modulation and other parameters, pitch and mod wheels and high-resolution continuous knobs. Plus stereo 24-bit 48kHz audio balanced I/O and is bus powered for the outwardly mobile. The Photon 25 ($249) has the MIDI features but has a joystick control in place of the dome and wheels and lacks the audio interface. Both Photon models offer twenty editable, storable configurations; easy template placement for virtual instruments and digital audio workstations; three way power (USB Bus Power, Optional External Adapter or 4 C cell batteries) and are Windows and Mac ready. Alesis Chairman John O'Donnell commented: "The Photon Series of keyboard controllers is simply an amazing value.
