We are reviewing a Boss pedal every day for a month in March, and today, on day 24, it's the turn of the Boss PS-6 Harmonist pedal, which allows you to harmonise with yourself.

We're looking at 30 pedals this month, and then on the final day of March, we'll be doing a round up of our favourites. The idea being that you can quickly watch our bitesize reviews and compare one Boss pedal to another, and quickly see if you like the sound.

The Boss PS-6 Harmonist has on board DSP which transposes your input signal depending on your chosen key signature and interval.

Rich's verdict - "Impressive and powerful DSP on board this little fella, it does exactly what it says on the box - it's a harmoniser pedal, and a good one at that. The blend knob is a really useful function, so you can blend your input signal with the DSP output signal, and you can choose any major or minor key.

"Not only can you harmonise in any interval from 1-8, but you can also have a sub octave, and three band harmonies which are basically triads.

"I like it, it's loads of fun, and it sounds great. The ability to plug in an expression pedal is really useful, and the S-bend function is great for the Digitech Whammy style sound."

RRP - £155
