Another treat from the Cymru Beats event - Somatic Responses are two brothers who have been performing live techno for many years, its taken them all over the globe. In the last year or so however, they've been bitten by the modular bug and now create live sets based around their MakeNoise, MFB and Pittsburgh Modular setups, as well as a couple of Moog Sub Phatty's.

Their regular setups include Ableton plus live keyboards, but for the modular gigs they've paired it down to live sequencers, with laptops merely providing live effects via their Mackie Onyx mixers with Firewire interfaces.

They were asked to perform at the event and were kind enough to give us a preview of their material as well as a run through of the setup.
