Nori Ubukota is a thereminist and sound designer who at this years MESSE was introducing his original invention the Theresyn.

The Theresyn is a hybrid instrument that combines some of the best things about the Theremin with some excellent sounding synthesis techniques.

The difference between a regular Theremin and the Theresyn is that instead of the usual antenna for amplitude, the Theresyn has a touch sensitive plate.

The circuits of the instrument are designed by legendary analogue designer Yves Esson, who designed the Arturia Brute series synthesizers.
