Native Instruments Kontakt is the defacto standard for delivering large, highly sophisticated sample sets, with many orchestral and acoustic instrument libraries available as well as allowing the user to program their own complex sample based instruments.

The Kontakt Player is a free version and there are also many libraries that are compatible with it. In this mini series, we take a look at using Kontakt Player in your productions utilising a couple of the Spitfire Audio orchestral sample libraries, Albion 1 - orchestral and also Albion V - Tundra which focusses more on the lower dynamic reaches of what an orchestra can produce.

In this part  Tosh takes you through the steps required to get setup with Kontakt Player and throws in a few tips and tricks.
