Midisoft Corp. have announced the release of MIDI Mate, a compact USB MIDI interface for both Windows and Mac, designed and built to musician specification.
MIDI Mate is a tiny 16-channel 1-in, 1-out (1x1) MIDI cable interface which ought to make portability easy, especially for those taking their music-making on the road, and switching from desktop to laptop computers.
Midisoft tell us that they discovered that consumers demanded more from their MIDI interfaces than the current market was providing. According to the company, musicians said they wanted compact interfaces with extra cable length, no MIDI delay, and durable construction to take the wear and tear of going from gig to gig, setup to setup. Yet it had to be easy to use, dependable, and available at an affordable price.
In response, Midisoft’s team of engineers designed an interface to suit those demands and are now offering MIDI Mate, a high-speed MIDI cable adapter for the music and education market.
