British band Keane are to release their next single, Nothing In My Way, on a memory stick – a first for a brand new format for music delivery. The music as well as videos and screensavers can be transferred directly from the memory stick to a computer.
Record company, Island, view the single as a bit of an experiment to see whether the new format is viable but don’t see it as a serious competitor to digital downloads. £3.99 GBP on sale exclusively in HMV stores from October 30
