Motion Sound, specialists in rotary speakers, have launched two models at the show specifically aimed at guitar players and powered by the player’s own amplifier. These should give players access to sounds not unlike those that Stevie Ray Vaughn got using his Fender Vibratone rotating speaker.
The SRV-212 is a rotary speaker cabinet that features two 12" Eminence screaming Eagle 75 watt speakers firing into a single rotor. Adjustable fast/slow speeds and transition time are featured. An autostop system positions the rotor forward so the SRV-212 can be used as a normal 2X12 cabinet.
The SRV-112, designed for smaller venues, features one 12" Eminence screaming Eagle 75 watt speaker firing into a single rotor. Like the larger model, adjustable fast/slow speeds and transition time are featured and the autostop system positions the rotor forward so the SRV-112 can be used as a normal 2X12 cabinet.
SRV-212 Rotary Guitar speaker features:
  • two Eminence"Sreamin' Eagle" 12" 50W RMS speakers firing into a single vertical rotor
  • cabinet impedance 4 ohms
  • fast/slow/transition time controls
  • LED fast/slow/stop footswitch
  • rotor face forward autostop
  • two built in microphones XLR outs
