Emu had pre-production models on demo of the new range of keyboards.
The PK-6 contains Proteus sounds and features with 61 keys and 64 voices. The PK-6 contains 32Mb of ram (640 factory/ 512 user patches) expandable to 128Mb using any of the Proteus expansion ROMS.
Other features include:
  • 16 real-time controllers
  • 16 simultaneous arpeggiators
  • SuperBEAT's interactive Groove Mode
  • 24bit dual FX
  • 4 analog outs
  • 24 bit DAC
  • 2 footswitch inputs Next up the XK-6 Based on the Xtreme Lead-1 12th order filters and synthesis architcture, this is perhaps the fattest sounding of the three.(Audio to come). The XK-6 shares the same features as the PK-6 Finally the MK-6 completes the series with the sound set and features from the Mo'Phatt module with all the same controllers, arpeggiators and outputs of it's two sisters. Emu will be releasing these keyboards over the next 8 weeks with the full range available by the end of March 2002. We will have audio demos of these units available shortly.
