The Harmony G from TC Helicon is a remarkable piece of technology, it takes the input from a guitar and a vocal and then creates two-part harmonies from the pitch analysis of the incoming signals. In real-time. With very little latency. Does that seem pretty incredible? When you see the CPU needed to run various harmony plug-ins, the fact that they can get this happening inside a stomp-box sized case seems quite an achievement. We hooked up with singer/songwriter Laura Clapp - who's song I cant seem to get out of my head now, to hear what she had to say and sing using the Harmony G and her other pedal of choice the Voice-Tone. As well as the vocal harmonies (10 presets), Harmony G offers dynamic mix and control over of the blend and EQ of voice and guitar signal - Laura says this makes sure you are always at your best, even under difficult live situations. Also in the range is the Harmony M - which takes the MIDI input from your keyboard and creates harmonies based on the note data. Both pedals are shipping and retail at: £199/ $399 List.
