Edirol are expanding their range of USB and MIDI devices with a vengeance. They were showing their most powerful to date “Does everything” USB 24bit/96kHz audio capture device. The UA-700 demonstrates a breakthrough in USB audio by coupling 24bit/96 kHz processing with high-end Mic/Guitar-Amp modeling, all in the same device. It is a complete input/output solution for both Audio and MIDI via USB. Aimed the home recordist and those who do not wish to compromise quality. At the same time it can be used as a standalone A/D converter or as an effects box for the performer. The UA-700 has a suggested retail price of $595. The main features of the UA-700 include:
