Famous MPC60/60II!!! HIPHOP HEADS A MUST! sampler/drummachine/seq/workstation
The differnce between the 60 and 60II is the 60II has a different hard plastic case and a headphone jack thats all, with the Roger Linn OS upgrade these machines are pretty much mpc3000's with the exception that its 12bit not 16bit, no digital i/o, and less mem (alot less), other then that they are the same machine OS/Seq wise, oh and no effects! so if you really want a mpc3000 and just dont got the $$$ think about your second option a upgraded mpc60/60II, limited RAM I personally find a plus just makes you work harder and be more creative, SCSI upgrade is also a MUST!!! you can hook up a ext zipdrive or other removable storage and hold seq/samples/etc... and load them much faster then floppy would! Fairly easy to get around on you'll be making tracks in no time, like I said with the Roger Linn OS upgrade this is basicly a MPC3000 so if you like the feel of that then this wont be any different just keep the hardware limitations in mind!
