Bruce N. Honnigford (aredant@pclink.com) writes:
I found the Xk to be an inexpensive and straight forward controller with a few unusual features. It was origionally designed for the expander modules, but does a great job for any sound module. Unfortunately it can address only 100 patches from the panel. That was a lot at one time. You can store 100 programs for with three zone capability. Construction is a rugged all metal case in satin black with horrible simulated wood fiberboard endcaps which I replaced with oak pieces of my own design. The design is simplistic with little thought for manufacturing. Quality of the electronics is only fair. Runs off external wall supply. I am however, fond of this compact, attractive and basic controller.
