It is to be compared with Roland R5 and Alesis HR 16B.
Comments About the Sounds:
the 16 bit samples can be somewhat altered: reserse, sweep decay, (fine) tune etc. Unfortunately the pads are not velocity sensitive. The samples are of good quality. And the thing is very easy to use. The ability to switch between several variations and fill-ins make it especially useful for stand alone performance.
