This is a great tool if you need a phrase sampler! It's able to run off 6 AA batteries, has built in Mic. It is not a Mpc-2000! It's not a Esi-2000! But it does a damm good job at whut it does and thats Phrase sampling you want a drum loop, cool but you need to start recording and stop it on beat! need a bass line same thing.. It is capable of auto looping and other misc efex Efex are not of high quality but they do add to the machine. I use it to go and record sounds out in the streets for my hip hop productions works great and I don't die if it gets broke!

I have used it for hooks and taking parts off movies (because of portability) Also send it home with some of my mc's to use as a scratch pad sampler I have seen creative use out of it!
