Sonic Says - A friend recently got one of these and he's now hopelessly in love. I had a little play with it and was pretty impressed with it's 'fatness' and, at the same time it's abillity to sound like a variety of analog synths, as well as itself - if you know what I mean! Flicking thru the presets you feel inspired by a large number of them and can't help but tweak (which always endears a synth to me). The mod and pitch wheel are made of stone and wood! I think there have been a couple of software/memory upgrade options since it came out. Probably worth checking the Clavia wwwsite for the latest details.
Comments About the Sounds:
a crossing between the best of MOOG, OBERHEIM, ARP, SEQENTIAL and ROLAND with fm modulation options and a velocity morph function enabling you to morph between two completely different sounds by means of vel. strengh. The sound is rich nasty and analogue.
